Dr Stephanie Diepeveen is Digital Technologies & Governance Expert with StateUp and Senior Lecturer in Global Digital Politics at King’s College London. She serves as Lead Co-Chair of the Think20 Taskforce on Inclusive Digital Transformations under South Africa’s G20 Presidency. Stephanie’s research sits at the intersection of power, digital infrastructure, and citizen–state relations, and she regularly translates research into policy across multilateral forums, including the G20, G7, and the UN’s Global Digital Compact. She previously led the Digital Societies Initiative at ODI and has held research posts with the University of Cambridge, UKRI, and RAND Europe.
